Taria Lynn - Makeup Artist

Becoming a successful makeup artist is not just an interest, not just a passion, but for Taria Lynn, it’s a daily faith walk. Each day presents new opportunities and challenges that she relies on God to help her navigate through. As a woman whose goal is to first minister to Gods people with every talent He has given her, Taria believes that Faith, Beauty, and Class are in every woman, she is just the vessel used to bring it to life.

Prior to makeup, Taria had a passion for modeling. She graduated from Barbizon School of Modeling in 2005, but after a car accident in 2010, she was told she would never be able to walk in heels again. She was forced to shift her focus to something new and makeup was always an interest. She would be complimented on her own makeup and made up a few faces for friends and family. She later became more serious, and began to hone her craft.
In between singing, traveling, her job, and a slew of other activities, Taria managed to build her business Taria Lynn Makeup Artistry. It began with proms, weddings, photo shoots, local plays, and a host of other events. Her first major booking was as a makeup artist for the 17 days of Fashion. The events were picking up and there was less time to focus on much else but makeup. She has done makeup for segments on PHL 17, Stomp the Runway fashion show, and many other opportunities were coming to her from all directions. Working, singing, and traveling while trying to build, had become almost impossible.

In 2014, Taria took a huge leap of faith and resigned from her job to work Taria Lynn Makeup as a fulltime freelance makeup artist. As a result, she now has the freedom to pursue her business full speed ahead. Since working for herself, she has been a makeup artist for the Fox 29 makeup segment, cover shoots and articles for MaMi Magazine and taught her first makeup class. She taught her first class at a women's shelter. In this particular class, she felt as though this was her true ministry as she was able to help empower women, boost their self-confidence and positively impact them for a lifetime by teaching them the importance of loving themselves. It was her moment to be used to show women that within, Faith, Beauty, and Class resides.
